Warning 1: dimension #1 (nlon) is not a Latitude/Y dimension. ![]() After some trials and errors I finally got it right in ArcGis, but in QGIS importing it (Layer > Add layer > Add raster layer) there isn't any option to choose the coordinates.Īfter doing some research I found in a another post here a way of fixing the y-axis with GDAL in OSGeo4W gdal_translate -of netCDF -co WRITE_BOTTOMUP=NO NETCDF:"filename.nc":datasetname newfile.ncįor example: gdal_translate -of netCDF -co WRITE_BOTTOMUP=NO NETCDF:"ATS_LST_3PUUOL200208XX_0.50X0.50_CS3_LSM.nc":LST 200208_05_LST.ncĪlthought I got some warnings: Warning 1: dimension #2 (nlat) is not a Longitude/X dimension. ![]() When importing them to a friend's ArcGis I can choose which subdataset I want to use as X and Y coordinates, there are four candidates: lat, lon, nlat and nlon. In the top-left you can see the Europe coastal line I was using, in the bottom-right the nc layer I'm trying to import NetCDF layers with environmental information to QGIS and they appear flipped and rotated
